In the heart of Ventura County lies a hidden gem perfect for those dreaming of a rustic, romantic outdoor wedding, the Casi Cielo Vineyard in Camarillo.
It was here, amidst the vineyard’s enchanting scenery, that I had the honor of bringing Kira’s bridal beauty vision to life for her special day with Javier on January 7th, 2023.
The Outdoor Wedding Venue
I met Kira in 2018, during her best friend Gabi’s wedding, where I had the privilege of being the makeup artist. So, when Kira reached out to me in 2022 about her own wedding, I was thrilled.
Little did I know, she was not only planning a breathtaking Camarillo outdoor wedding but also, she was collaborating with one of the top wedding coordinators in our area.
Our initial conversations through email were filled with excitement and detailed discussions about her vision, enabling me to provide Kira with all the necessary tools for a successful trial and, ultimately, a stunning wedding day look.
Hair and Makeup Trials for the Outdoor Wedding
Kira’s initial request was for Hollywood waves, a glamorous choice for any bride seeking to make a statement.
However, upon our in-person consultation, it became clear that her day-to-day style was more soft and natural. Observing Kira’s gentle beauty and considering her petite frame, I suggested that we opt for a look that would enhance her natural elegance while still making her feel like a bride out of a fairytale. Trust and honesty are crucial in my relationships with brides, and it was through this open communication that we decided to forgo the Hollywood waves for a style that truly reflected Kira’s personality.
Our second trial was a revelation. We chose a soft, romantic makeup look that elevated Kira’s natural beauty and complemented the stunning backdrop of her Camarillo outdoor wedding at Casi Cielo Vineyard.
The Wedding Day Look
The final look was nothing short of magical, perfectly embodying the rustic romance of her wedding venue. I love this look so much that Kira is one of the brides featured in my photo gallery.
