Getting Ready for a Camarillo Wedding
One of my favorite parts of a wedding day is always the morning. Before the ceremony begins and everyone comes together, there’s a little window of quiet excitement — getting ready, laughing with your favorite people, and realizing that the day you’ve been waiting for is finally here.
I had the pleasure of creating Lily’s bridal hair, and she was such a joy to spend the morning with. Her style was soft and romantic, while still feeling completely like her.
I love when bridal hair feels polished without feeling overdone. There’s something so beautiful about a bride still looking and feeling like herself.
Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo
Sterling Hills Golf Club is such a beautiful setting for a Camarillo wedding. The greenery and open spaces create a gorgeous backdrop while still giving the day a relaxed, comfortable feeling.
Camarillo is also such a convenient location for a Southern California wedding. Located in Ventura County, it’s an easy gathering place for family and friends coming from Ventura, Santa Barbara, Thousand Oaks, and the Los Angeles area.

As beautiful as the ceremony and reception are, I think the little moments in between are some of the sweetest.
The nervous excitement while getting ready.
The last-minute touches.
The hugs with family.
The happy tears.
And that moment when everything is finished and you realize you’re actually married.
Those are the moments I feel lucky to be part of. Being there on a wedding morning isn’t just about hair and makeup — it’s about helping a bride feel calm, beautiful, and cared for while everything around her is coming together.
Lily was absolutely beautiful, and it was such a pleasure to be a small part of her and Chase’s Camarillo wedding.
